Professor Helmig joined the University of Mannheim in September 2007 after he was full professor and Chair for Nonprofit Management & Marketing at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), where he served as Academic Director of an Executive MBA program. Previously Professor Helmig was Assistant Professor at the University of Freiburg (Germany), Visiting Professor at the Universities of Namur (Belgium) and Berne (Switzerland), Visiting Faculty Guest at Harvard Business School (Boston/Cambridge, Mass., USA) and Visiting Scholar at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland, UK). His research interest is in client behavior, cause-related marketing, relationship marketing, and communication strategies.

Professor Kieser's research concentrates on cross-cultural management, organization theory, theories of organizational evolution, decision-making in organizations, and the design and history of organizations. With his manifold publications, international scientific awards and his membership in the Heidelberg Academy of Science, Professor Kieser is a key player in his academic field.

Professor Oechsler is specialized in changes in labor law, human resource management in the information age, human resource planning and corporate governance. A particular interest lies in the area of international comparison of tools for employee codetermination. He has been visiting professor at the University of Toronto (Canada).

Professor Perlitz specializes in international management, intercultural management, innovation management, global scenarios, business policy and strategy. He contributes additional practical experience to the program with his knowledge of current business developed through various consulting activities in international companies. Professor Perlitz holds visiting positions at the Asian Institute of Management in Manila (Philippines) and the Carnegie-Mellon University at Pittsburgh.
