
Professor Arndt specializes in tax law, constitutional law and European law. After studying in Tuebingen, Berlin and Bochum, he was professor at the University of Konstanz until 1983, when he joined the faculty of the University of Mannheim. Since 2001, he is rector of the University of Mannheim.

Professor Schröder is specialized in international economical relationships, economical and monetary integration in Europe, monetary politic and international indeptedness. He has held several positions as a visiting professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz; the University of Hongkong, Stanford University and the Chulalongkorn University of Bangkok.

Professor Stahl is the holder of the chair for economics and applied macroeconomics at the University of Mannheim. His research interests include applied microeconomics of industrial organization, location theory as well as housing and labor market analysis He obtained his PhD at the University of California, Berkeley and held a visiting position at that institution.

Professor von Thadden's specialties are Financial Markets, Law and Finance and Game Theory. He joined the department of economics at University of Mannheim in 2004 after previous appointments at Stanford University, Basel University and the University of Lausanne (both Switzerland). Professor von Thadden has published articles in renowned publications, such as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Institutional and Theoretical Economics and the Journal of Public Economy.
