1. Start of MANNHEIM & TONGJI Executive MBA Program
On March 9, the first class consisting of 31 participants of the MANNHEIM & TONGJI Executive MBA started their program, which is the result of Mannheim Business School's partnership with renowned Tongji University, Shanghai. The aim of the part-time program is to provide participants with in-depth insights into different aspects of the corporate world and to enhance their knowledge of Asian and European businesses. It is completely taught in English, course modules will take place in Mannheim and Shanghai. Participants can complete their Executive MBA degree within one and a half years or over an extended period of time of up to five years, allowing executives maximum flexibility in integrating their studies into their life and career plans. An open-enrollment option for individuals who wish to participate in selected courses or modules only is also available.

Due to the highly flexible design of the program, it is possible to start the Executive MBA with each one of the modules. We therefore operate on a rolling admissions basis and accept applications throughout the entire year. For more information on the Executive MBA program or the open-enrollment option, please visit www.mannheim-tongji.com or contact Nilgün Vatansever, Admissions Manager, at vatansever@mba-mannheim.com or via phone at +49 (0)621 181-3721.

4. Social Projects Mannheim MBA Class of 2011
As social responsibility has always been an essential part of our educational concept, doing your MBA at Mannheim Business School involves far more than taking classes in Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance or Supply Chain Management. This is why a social project is a core element of the Mannheim MBA. The students of the current class had to come up with a project proposal by the end of last year and are now implementing their respective projects. Projects range from an International Day at a local children's home to strategy workshops for local volunteer groups such as Go Ahead e.V. and Plan International.
