Top-Class Board of Trustees advises the Mannheim Business School
In the future a board of trustees will accompany the economic and scientific development of the Mannheim Business School. The board consists of 18 top-ranking representatives from different branches of the industry. Dr. Kurt Bock, BASF’s CFO, was elected chairman of the board at their first meeting.
“Our joint project is a good example of how theory and practice can work side by side. By sharing our expertise with the brilliant students in the Mannheim Business School we are helping to develop excellent future managers for the international market. BASF and other regional businesses will reap the benefits,” said Bock.
“We are pleased that so many highly-qualified people have been willing to join the board and support us in our work,” emphasized Professor Dr. Dr. h. c. Otto H. Jacobs, Administrative Director of the Business School. The newly formed board is the umbrella organisation of the business administration management department of the Mannheim University. It deals with all organisational aspects of both MBA programs and the faculty.
