AMA Ranking: Professor Homburg is One of the Three Best Marketing Professors Worldwide

Professor Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Christian Homburg is not only an exceptionally successful President of the Mannheim Business School, he is also one of the three best marketing professors in the world and is the best academic for his specialist area in Europe. If only the articles in the Journal of Marketing alone are counted, the 46 year old is the clear frontrunner worldwide. These are the results reached by a ranking of the working group of international doctoral candidates, DocSIG within the American Marketing Association (AMA), which is the world's leading academic association in the area of marketing. The rakings list is based on the number of publications in the six most important international marketing journals in the years 2000 to 2007.
