Companies are increasingly recognising the importance of innovative work-life balance strategies to differentiate themselves as attractive employers. As part of their Entrepreneurial Project, a group of participants of the ESSEC & MANNHEIM Modular Executive MBA class of 2009 approached the subject, developing a business plan for an online-based full-service solution that would help employees of participating organizations to better align the demands of work and private life.
Under the lead of now Alumna Renate Echtermeyer, this Entrepreneurial Project has fruited in the foundation of Work-Life Management GmbH (WLM) with its online platform benefit@work, which will start operations in February. The first companies to have signed up for the service are Pfalzwerke AG and MVV Energie AG.
