Admission Requirements

  • First degree
    A primary requirement for admission is a post-secondary degree such as a bachelor or Diplomstudium, or a comparable degree.
  • Entrance examinations
    An additional requirement is the successful completion of the statutory entrance examination which consists of two written exams and an oral exam. This way the candidate should provide evidence of a broad basic education in business and economics, especially in the field of applied business administration.
  • Employer's pledge of support
    The Executive Master of Accounting & Taxation is a major time investment and we expect participants to be released from 50% of their regular workload for the duration of the program. As formal evidence of their employer’s support and understanding of the time requirements, applicants are asked to provide a statement from their employer consenting to their participation in this program. A form is available for download.
  • For the accounting track only: Evidence of a year’s professional experience as defined in Sec. 9 WPO
    Applicants for the accounting track need to prove that they have professional experience as defined in Sec. 9 WPO, i.e. at least half of the total year's work experience required must have been spent working in accountancy. Please send written confirmation of this from your employer as part of your application.
