Strategic management skills are of vital importance for the success of a company.
In this open MBA program you will become familiar with the strategic leadership perspective, as well as the challenges and skills required by the senior management of an organization. You will be given the knowledge and skills that are required to lead a world class enterprise successfully.

This intensive 5-day open MBA program focuses on critical strategic leadership issues. Attention will be given to the critical strategic leadership issues of organization design, working together as a senior team, envisioning a future and acting on the vision, entering into sensitive debate and being resilient to cope with strategic dialogue, considerations of strategic HRM and how senior executives should cope with and minimize burn out. |
Certificate At the end of the open MBA program, each participant will be awarded a Mannheim Business School certificate. |
Multiple pedagogical approaches are utilized including case studies, learning team discussion, plenary discussion, team simulation exercises, lectures and presentations and personal feedback through symmetric and leadership style questionnaires. |
Prof. Andrew Kakabadse, PhD Andrew Kakabadse is currently Professor of International Management Development at the School of Management, Cranfield University, UK. Previous tenures include the Australian National University, Hangzhou University, Thunderbird School of Global Management, Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and the Centre for Creative Leadership North Carolina. His areas of research include improving the performance of top executives and top executive teams, excellence in consultancy practice, corporate governance, conflict resolution, and international relations. He is co-editor of the Journal of Management Development and Corporate Governance and The International Journal of Business in Society. Furthermore, he is an editorial board member of the Journal of Managerial Psychology and Leadership and Organization Development Journal, as well as Vice Chancellor of the International Academy of Management. |
