I’ve been working in the field of data analytics in Peru for the last five years. Two years ago, I started looking for a program that would strengthen my managerial skills but still keep hands-on techniques such as machine learning in mind. And this is exactly what I found when reading over the curriculum of this program: A holistic managerial approach within data analytics.
In general, I’m very satisfied with the program. The first half at Reichman University enhanced some must-have technical skills and strategic thinking in multiple scenarios, and exposed us to the start-up environment, which in a sense is a whole new world for me. It showed me a different aspect of business with a strong focus on innovation.
In the second half at Mannheim Business School, we’re focusing on the managerial perspective. Most of our projects include an end-to-end approach in order to present a complete strategy that integrates data science and machine learning as an important tool to fulfill the business objectives. Moreover, we get to attend countless workshops to boost networking with alumni and among us master’s students.

Robert Kluge, Master in Management Analytics Class of 2022“I see the program as an opportunity to expand my skills and focus on data science while building a link to management, business, and data-driven decision-making. Additionally, I am happy to study with people from all over the world (11 different countries) with the most diverse backgrounds. Taking this step into the world of data science and management analytics was the right decision, and I cannot wait to apply my newly acquired skills in the real world!”

After four years in Strategy Consulting at Monitor Deloitte and three years at Deutsche Telekom while studying, the new program immediately caught my attention. I see it as an opportunity to expand my skills and focus on data science while building a link to management, business, and data-driven decision-making. Additionally, I am happy to study with people from all over the world (11 different countries) with the most diverse backgrounds.
The first part of the program was at Reichman University in Herzliya, Israel. Right in the heart of Israel’s start-up world, we learned the fundamentals of data science, big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, integrating them into strategy and innovation in a novel manner. Moreover, we worked closely with local tech start-ups across various industries.
Following this solid theoretical and scientific foundation in Israel, the focus in the second part of the program in Mannheim is on the practical application of methods and theory in a corporate business context. The modules are largely taught by practitioners who have daily experience with data-driven decision-making and digital transformation. Over the past few months, we have already developed critical-thinking and problem-solving skills that enable us to apply the knowledge, competencies, and methods in practice. Overall, we benefit from the best of both worlds in this unique joint master’s program.
