AMBA Awards Scholarship to Mannheim Business School Participant

Great distinction for Mannheim MBA participant: Thaddäus Velz, now a member of our Mannheim Part-Time MBA Class of 2019, was awarded one of only six scholarships provided by AMBA commemorating the organization’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.

Andrew Main Wilson, Chief Executive of AMBA, the Association of MBAs, said: “In our 50th year, we wanted to provide six talented and aspirational potential MBA students the opportunity to fulfil their dream of not only undertaking an MBA at one of the world’s best Business Schools, but also use that experience to make a real difference to society through a sustainability-oriented future career path.”

Thaddäus Velz, who won the scholarship for Europe, is a biotechnologist and his aim in doing an MBA is to combine his profound biotechnological knowledge and expertise with sound management and leadership skills in order to found a new type of socially oriented healthcare company. 

Mannheim Business School has been accredited by AMBA since 2008. AMBA is one of the three leading international business school accreditation associations.
