It was the fifth class of this highly renowned program, which has already been completed by nearly 300 prospective leaders in the fields of accounting and taxation.

In his welcoming address, Professor Dr. Jens Wüstemann, President of Mannheim Business School and Academic Director of the Accounting Track of the Mannheim Master of Accounting & Taxation, denoted the program as a prime example for non-disruptive innovation. “When introduced in 2008, the program was a new concept, which was – at the same time and upon reasonable grounds – based on a proven path: a first-class academic education in the fields of accounting and taxation at the University of Mannheim, which has been known and appreciated far beyond national borders for decades.”

A degree in business from the University of Mannheim also laid the basis for Marius Möller’s impressive career. Now, the 51-year-old is Board Member of PwC Germany with responsibility for the areas Tax & Legal. As keynote speaker, Möller prepared the brand new Master graduates for future challenges in accounting and taxation both in a competent and entertaining way.

Located in the heart of the German and European economy, Mannheim Business School (MBS), the umbrella organization for management education at the University of Mannheim, is considered to be one of the leading institutions of its kind in Germany and is continuously ranked as Germany’s #1.
