Unternehmenspräsentationen und Gastvorträge vermitteln Ihnen einen Eindruck von der praktischen Anwendung der Lerninhalte und geben Ihnen gleichzeitig die Möglichkeit, Firmenvertreter kennen zu lernen. In Workshops und Kursen gestalten Sie Ihre Bewerbung und bereiten Interviews vor, die sie durch uns vermittelt mit Vertretern von für Sie interessanten Firmen führen.

Karriere-Daten und –Fakten zum Mannheim MBA

Über 90% der Absolventinnen und Absolventen der Class of 2017 hatten drei Monate nach Programmende einen Arbeitsvertrag unterschrieben.

Durchschnittlich rund 25% der Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer haben vor dem Programm in Deutschland gearbeitet; nach Abschluss setzen über 75% ihre Karriere hier fort.

Absolventinnen und Absolventen des Mannheim MBA arbeiten in Unternehmen aller Größen und Branchen; Top-Rekrutierer in den Jahren 2016 und 2017 waren SAP, Accenture, Robert Bosch, Amazon, PwC, McKinsey, UBS und Roche Pharma.

Die MBA Career Week 2018 war ein voller Erfolg. Die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer unseres Mannheim Full-Time MBA nutzten Interviews, Workshops, Fallstudien, Firmenbesuche und Assessment Center, um mit hochrangigen Vertretern von global tätigen Unternehmen in Kontakt zu kommen und zu erfahren, welche Karrierechancen MBA-Absolventen in diesen Unternehmen haben. I decided to do an MBA because I believed it was the right path towards acquiring the tools I needed to continue developing personally and to boost my career. My motivation to do my MBA in Germany was to get to know and adapt to the pragmatic and hard-working German culture. A world-class academic level and the international experience were further major criteria that contributed to my decision.

With its triple accreditation, top positions in international rankings, and great value for money, Mannheim Business School quickly caught my attention. Further investigation into the school’s didactic approach confirmed that the Mannheim MBA was indeed a perfect match. I liked the small, practical and close-knit cohorts, the integrated knowledge, and the interesting and nurturing challenges.

I was able to learn from an incredibly wide range of personal and professional experiences, not only due to the diverse backgrounds of the teachers (which may be expected) but also from the equally important rich backgrounds of my colleagues (many of whom I now call friends).

There were several bonding activities, both for the entire cohort and for the various Business Master Project (BMP) teams, which I will keep in my delightful memories box. In particular, I will laugh and enjoy remembering all the different BMP pitching presentations. Preparing the slides and the actual presentations was simultaneously funny and very stressful due to the sometimes different opinions. But at the end of the day, we achieved a good and satisfactory result, and I became a more multifaceted person while learning and working with my classmates. I learned to understand more perspectives when evaluating situations and decisions to drive businesses forward in collaboration with the various stakeholders involved.

Valuable insights into the German job market completed the MBA experience. I had three main reasons for doing an MBA. Firstly, I wanted to reconnect and deepen my business knowledge. I have a Bachelor of Science in international management, a background in consulting, and ample experience with a startup in the automotive industry where I had learned a lot, especially how to take ownership of tasks and drive them towards success. With the MBA program, I wanted to further develop these skills through mentored learning situations.

Secondly, the possibility to connect with peers from around the world with similar goals in their academic and career paths appealed to me. Closely working and learning with a group of fellow classmates from so many different professional and cultural backgrounds really shapes your personality and prepares you for work in an international business environment.

And thirdly, I was sure that doing an MBA at a renowned business school would help me secure an excellent career path in the future: The higher academic degree would prepare me for a leadership position at a top employer.

And I was proven right. The Mannheim MBA had a major impact on my career: Not only did it open a career path for me through one of the most exciting development programs, I also learned a lot about myself and realized my true potential. Looking back, what I enjoyed most was the interesting discussions and the playful learning experiences, which were an opportunity to explore and think outside the box. My personal highlight was definitely the people I met there: I gained 60 friends from 26 countries and an invaluable network of fellow Mannheimers around the world.

The MBS Career Development Team supported me to have a clear vision about my career goal and then helped me to put that vision into reality. They not only gave us a 360 degree preparation from how to set up your profile on professional online networks to salary negotiations in interviews, but also connected me to a lot of companies, to which I may had never spoken. This helped me quite a lot to better understand what I look for in my career.

Without the support of the MBS Career Development Team I would not be where I am today.
