What differentiates this program from other data science master's programs?

In contrast to other courses of study in this field, the Mannheim Master of Applied Data Science & Measurement has a clear focus on data collection and questionnaire design, addressing the important questions at the beginning of the data pipelines in organizations. Participants will learn to identify appropriate methodologies for their organizations’ data collection efforts, and to organize the obtained data pipeline in order to help their organizations gain insights and optimize their decision-making processes.

The program is taught in close collaboration with the University of Maryland, which has offered the world-renowned Joint Program in Survey Methodology (JPSM) since 1993, together with the University of Michigan, and Westat, a private survey research firm.
