High-Level Forums for Dialog and Discussion

The fact that the University of Mannheim was supported by the German federal government's Excellence Initiative with a graduate school (GESS – Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences) is just one of many visible manifestations pointing to the excellence and impact of the academic work conducted here. The Center for Doctoral Studies in Business (CDSB) in the GESS as well as all areas and departments regularly hold seminars and research events that provide a forum for scientific dialog and discussion. Thus, they represent another important instrument in our efforts to educate and foster the next generation of scholars. These forums regularly include prominent figures from leading universities and other research institutions throughout the world.
